Two meals are larger, so you will utilize the remains of one meal to make another meal and you’ll have two meals. I’m almost certain that each family has two evenings in a span of two weeks where they are out (at a restaurant, at a friend’s house…) or they have one of those nights when everyone eats different things.
2-WEEK MEAL PLAN FOR A FAMILY OF 5 FOR $170 :
- Meal – Spicy Egg Bake
- crescent rolls – $1.50
- dozen eggs – $1.60
- 1 lb. ground sausage – $1.90
- cheddar cheese – $1.60
- organic salsa – $1.90
TOTAL = $8.50
Directions – Take a baking pan and grease it. Then, lay the crescent rolls. Take the eggs and whisk them with salsa and the cooked ground sausage. Pour the mixture over the rolls. Add on top some cheddar cheese. Bake it for 40 minutes at 375 degrees.
